Betty was a devoted mother to her son, Donald Broome, Jr., and daughter, Anne Broome Hurdt. She was also a loving grandmother to Angela Daves Collins, Carrie Daves Clubb, Jerron Daves, Jason Broome, Sara Broome Butler, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Known for her deep love for children and family, her unwavering faith as a prayer warrior, and her passion for reading, Betty touched the lives of many with her kindness, wisdom, and faith-filled spirit.
As the oldest member of Patterson Springs Baptist Church, Betty was admired for her character traits of love, kindness, and wisdom.
