Gloria Byrum was a very active volunteer for the House of the Carpenter in Wheeling. She felt it was her calling and duty to serve her community locally by giving many hours of her time to this great organization.

The House of the Carpenter is a Christ-centered organization affiliated with the West Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church. Their goal is to serve all of God's children and ensure that all are welcomed into a community that is safe and filled with grace.
