Please consider honoring Billy's memory with a donation to Goshen Baptist Church.

Billy was a life-long member of Goshen Baptist Church where he served in many offices, including Deacon, Building and Grounds Committee and the Cemetery Committee, and a member of the Men's Brotherhood.  He loved his church and was always working and helping others. 

He was born in Brunswick County at his family home on November 12, 1923. His parents were George William Lennon and Eula Lee Rowell Lennon.  Billy graduated from Leland High School and joined the US Army Air Corps during WW II.  He served honorably on a B-24 Liberator airplane on 35 missions and was discharged with the rank of Tech Sgt.  He worked and retired with 30 years of service at the USS Agri Fertilizer Plant in Navassa.  

Celebration of Life ceremony will be held 11 am Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his beloved Goshen Baptist Church officiated  by Rev. Barbara Bell. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service.
