Charles Clifton 'Butch' Jones age 74 a resident of Magnolia Greens in Leland passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
He was born in Washington DC on October 12, 1943 to Charles Sidney Jones and Violet Dean Jones.
Butch was a proud Army Veteran and had a career of over 35 years in telephone and communications, retiring from VERIZON in Maryland. After his retirement he and his family moved to Leland, NC
Butch is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sherry Lynn Jones; daughter Cathi Wright and husband Drew; son Chris Jones, and one granddaughter, Lexi Wright.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be 2 pm Monday, November 27, 2017 at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation Village Road Chapel in Leland.
