Shriners Hospital for Children

Lena Derosa was a strong and vibrant woman. She was the fifth of six children and her early years were full of challenges and lean times. She always said she never felt poor despite the hard times. Lena loved dancing and took the time to document and bring to life the story of her parents journey from Italy to West Virginia. She also publish a memoir of her early childhood living in Rosemont. Lena loved and was much loved by her family. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled. Her family requests that any memorial contributions be used to benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children. They wish to thank you in advance for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
