Brady's Steps Charitable Foundation helps to raise awareness and fund families of children who are affected with spina bifida. Being so closely affected with this, Janie truly believed what they stood for.

Brady Blake, was born in 2011, a grandson of Janie, with spina bifida. Spina Bifida is a birth defect where the spinal cord does not close before birth. Although this can be repaired through surgery, nerves left exposed can be damaged. The majority of children born with a specific type of spina bifida, myelomeningocele, have problems with bowel and bladder control, weakness or paralysis in the legs, and hydrocephalus. Most children require shunts in the brain, to be catheterized and assistance with walking. The goal of Brady's Steps is to raise money to help families with the expenses of these items needed, medical supplies, appointments, surgery and therapy.

Janie believed in what Brady's Steps does for its community at home and on a national level. Please help the family honor her life with memorial contributions. No amount is too small.
