Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society

Gladys Jean Dierkes died on April 12, 2018 at Liza's Place in Wheeling. She was very active in St. joseph Church in Fairpoint in both the Catholic Womens Club and the Choir. She served as a Eucharistic Minister as did her husband before he passed in 2003. She leaves behind five children, 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter along with a host of extended family and friends. She will be sorely missed but the family is greatful that she is at peace and with her God. Her favorite things to do were gardening and taking care of her family especially her grandchildren. The family wishes to express their thanks to everyone for their support and kindness during this difficult time and ask that any memorial contributions be used to benefit cancer research through the American Cancer Society.
