Fund Type: Family Support21221, OH
Lori was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) brain tumor in September of 2017 and after numerous treatments and hospital visits the decision was made to stop chemo. Proceeds will be used to help with the 24/7 care that Lori now requires.
Lori grew up in Wisconsin but moved to Ohio in 2006. In 2014 she married Teddy Damron in Columbus, Ohio. In late September of 2017 Lori was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) brain tumor and underwent emergency brain surgery followed by radiation and several months of chemotherapy.
After having seizures, a few ambulance rides to the ER, blood clots in her legs and lungs, a stint in ICU, both inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy... in mid-May the decision was made that enough was enough and chemo was stopped.
Lori is at home and through everything she has never lost her vibrant personality and sass. Her character has always attracted the best in others and her family and friends continue to amaze with their love, generosity and caring. Proceeds will go to help with the 24/7 care now required.
