Memorial contributions will go Meagan Toothman's Foundation.

Meagan Toothman was the beloved granddaughter of Edward McCorkle Sr. who tragically passed away in 2011. After her passing the family started 'Meagan Toothman's Foundation to raise scholarship money for students at Turpin High School in Ohio. Over the past almost 10 years the foundation has been able to gift scholarships to students to help them achieve their academical dreams like Meagan had the opportunity to do.

Edward was very proud of the hard work Meagan put into her education and how she took pride in the impact she was making in her community. Even after her passing, she is still making a huge impact and carrying the "light" she had on to others.

Mission Statement for the Meagan Toothman Foundation :

Meagan was a beautiful young lady with a love for life and a passion for helping others. She strived to help others make their lives as rich as they could be with the purpose of leaving the world a better place for what they have done and who they have been and may become. She embraced and lived the Wittenberg University motto: "Having light we pass it on to others." With that motto in mind, the goal of the Meagan Toothman Foundation is to continue Meagan’s journey by recognizing the service and positive impact a student has had on the community, assisting others in overcoming obstacles, and providing assistance to students in need with furthering their education.
