Born on April 3, 1949, in Davidson County, North Carolina, Sharon's journey on this earth came to a peaceful close on December 10, 2024, at her beloved home in Davidson County.

Sharon's career as a cook in the education industry spanned over two decades, where she not only served nourishing meals but also created warm memories and lasting friendships. Her passion for the culinary arts was just one expression of her vibrant spirit.

A true artist at heart, Sharon embraced a variety of creative pursuits, from arts and crafts to writing and painting, adding beautiful colors to the lives of those around her. She found joy in shagging at the beach, fishing, and treasuring precious moments with her family and pets.

Her spiritual journey was guided by a profound faith, finding solace and peace in her Christian beliefs after welcoming Jesus into her heart 25 years ago.

Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Robert (Frankie) Bivens, and their children: daughter April McNeil (Chucky), son Shane Walser, and daughters Shasta Byerly (Ricky) and Dee Tilley (Jeff). She will forever be cherished by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom carry her love and devotion in their hearts.
