William Allen "Adam" Benton, Jr., age 50, of NC Hwy 561 East, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family after a long, hard-fought battle with ALS.
Adam was born on October 10, 1971 to William Allen “Bill” Benton, Sr. and Frances Moseley Benton in Greensboro, NC. He loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. Adam loved being a police officer and was a great dad to his two boys, Hunter and Holden. He also enjoyed hunting and cutting jokes every chance he got. Adam was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
