The purpose of our organization is to spay and neuter stray cats in our community. We also provide a low cost spay/neuter program to those of low income. We are proud to officially be responsible for the financial veterinary care of all cats.

Belmont County Cat Stray Shun was founded in April of 2011 and is a non profit - tax exempt organization. We have spay/neutered over 2000 cats in our community and they all have shelter and are being fed. We offer a low cost spay/neuter program to residents of Belmont County if they have taken in a stray cat or if they need financial assistance. We have also found homes for over 200 kittens in the past two years for the Belmont County Animal Shelter. We love working in conjunction with them. We are always happy to have volunteers to trap strays or to foster kittens until they are ready to be adopted. Our goal is to alleviate the suffering of stray and feral cats in our community which will also stop the possibility of a child being injured.
