Kay Dawson Lockey passed away on May 17, 2020 at her home. She was born in Lenoir County, NC on June 17, 1944, one of twelve children born of the late Fred and Lucy Sullivan Dawson.

Kay was one of twelve children born of the late Fred and Lucy Sullivan Dawson.  She worked as a salesperson for Belk and S & K Men's Wear.  Kay was a member of Meherrin Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church and especially the senior citizens group.  She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing.  Family and church were very important to Kay.  To honor Kay's memory, Memorial contributions may be made to Meherrin Baptist Church which she dearly loved.  Thank you for you contribution.
