Mr. Lassiter was born on March 27, 1944 to Brodie Lassiter and Mavis Harrington Lassiter in Aulander, NC. Donnie, affectionately known as "DADA" cherished his family, especially his granddaughters which were the apples of his eye. He was a Godly man that loved his Lord deeply and enjoyed his time that he spent worshipping Him. Donnie was a brick mason by trade, which he worked very hard at for many years. He enjoyed using his God given talent to bless others by making repairs at no charge. Donnie liked to work in the yard and could grow nearly anything with his green thumb. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
