Fred was a loving and devoted family man.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, fixing things, and piddling in the shop whenever possible.  A dedicated member of Hobgood Volunteer Fire Department for 57 years, Fred was always ready to lend a hand when needed.  His family was his greatest joy and he loved spending time with them.  He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Fred was a member of Hobgood Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He will be remembered as a good and gracious man by his church and the entire community of Hobgood.  A donation to Hobgood Pentecostal Holiness Church will help to honor Fred's memory and help support the church he loved.
