Mrs. Davis was born on August 21, 1936 to Vann and Gracie Parker Dempsey in Hertford County, North Carolina. She was one of eight children. She was a devoted wife and mother. She always made sure the family was taken care of. "Pinchie", as she was so affectionately known to many, enjoyed working in her yard. She was a dedicated member of Hickory Chapel Free Will Baptist Church for many years serving in many capacities, such as the ladies auxiliary, being an usher, and working with the home missions. "Pinchie" was loved by many and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 

The David family is grateful for the love and care shown to Pinchie during her last days!
