Jack was born in Pulaski, VA and a veteran of the US Navy.  He worked for many years in the shoe industry before retiring in Scotland Neck, NC.  Jack loved to entertain his family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.  He enjoyed listening to country music and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Jack loved animals, especially his cocker spaniels, Echo and Winston.  Woofs-N-Purrs Animal Rescue in Scotland Neck rescues, treats, and home matches abused/abandoned/lost puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats. They spay/neuter, vaccinate, and give medical care to all their rescues.  A donation to Woofs-N-Purrs will help to honor Jack's memory and help support a vital local organization.
