Joseph Charles “Jojo” Sebester, Sr. was born in Virginia where he spent most of his life. His childhood was all about developing a bond with his family and friends. Jojo became a very talented carpenter and he owned his own business. His work was both wonderfully done and appreciated.

Jojo acquired a motorbike in the last year and it became very important to him. His family described him as a "free-spirit," and this bike let him be as free as he wanted. He was always riding it when he could. Jojo was also family-oriented, a trait that he carried with him from his childhood. His favorite TV show was “Vikings” and he was a big NBA, football, and general sports enthusiast. Jojo was someone you could turn to if you needed support and if you needed help – he was a pillar of strength for his family, and he is deeply missed.

Jojo’s tragic passing has left his family without their father, friend, sports-fanatic, and fellow biker. In lieu of flowers, please consider offering support to his family and his legacy. Any amount donated is deeply appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home - Riverside Chapel located at 7415 River Road, Newport News VA 23607 at 6:00 pm, Thursday July 16, 2020.
