A native of Hertford County, Lynn was born on November 13, 1942 to Stanley Waff and Jessie Lynn Lowe Whitley in Murfreesboro, NC. Lynn worked as a secretary for Chowan University for many years. She was a longtime member of Murfreesboro Baptist Church and was very active, especially with the ladies in the church that were in the crocheting club. They were so proud in making baby bonnets for baby's and shawls for nursing home and chemo patients. She and Jimmy enjoyed going to Lake Gaston with their friends, Larry and Earlene Futrell, fishing, jet skiing, and spending many holidays together. Lynn was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
