Mrs. Francis was born on February 2, 1936 to Cliff and Edna Tillery Galloway in Northampton County, NC. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a devoted member of Meherrin Baptist Church where she spent many years teaching children's Sunday school class. She cherished her family especially her grandchildren. Marie enjoyed quilting and cooking making many quilts over the years for her family and always willing to cook up a meal for her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
