Memorial contributions in Teresa's memory to help fund two deserving scholarships that allow students to further their education.

Teresa L. Davis had a genuine love for teaching, which would in turn develop a love for the students she was privileged to teach. Her students always knew she wanted nothing but the best for them, and she gave them all the knowledge and tools available to help with that success. Early on in her teaching career she had the opportunity to be the cheerleading coach at West Henderson High School, and her love for her students spilled over on those cheerleaders she was honored to coach. Teresa cherished the opportunity to be the prom director at the high school for the past 20 years, and she made sure every detail was attended to so that all who were in attendance gained wonderful memories. She has left a lasting impression as a coach and English teacher, creating a legacy that will live on at West Henderson High School. One thing that was especially important to Teresa was the ability for her students to further their education beyond high school, so her family is asking that memorial donations be split between two wonderful scholarships which will help that vision for her students live on.

The Davis Dills Greene Scholarship was set up to help students attend Blue Ridge Community College to further their education.

The Emma Dietrich Scholarship was set up to help Henderson County young men attend the college of their choice.
