In Loving Memory of Thomas Villasenor, Jr.
Fund Type: Family SupportNewport News, VA
Fundraiser ends on March 25, 2021
Thomas Villasenor, Jr. was born in Dallas, Texas on June 18, 1955 to Thomas, Sr., and Juanita Villasenor. Thomas absolutely loved Texas – he was always telling his children that he was going to go back there one day. He was fiercely proud of being a graduate from North Dallas High School and his pride and love for his home state turned into pride and love for his nation when he entered the United States Air Force. He served for 11 dutiful years and his love for the United States (especially Texas) only grew. Thomas also developed a fondness for methods of transportation – he collected trains, cars, planes. He also enjoyed old military transportation like World War II planes and old photos. This joy spurred him into a career with the transportation system in Virginia where he became a bus driver, going out on everyday adventures in rain or shine.
When Thomas was not driving the buses, he could be found at home, nestled on the couch watching movies or going out to eat with his daughter Ashley. Thomas loved them dearly and he was forever grateful to the mothers of his children.
Thomas passed away suddenly on February 9, 2021, leaving behind a young daughter and a grieving, hurt family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider leaving a donation in his honor and to help a lost and hurt family find some ground to stand on again. Any amount donated is deeply appreciated and the family thanks you for your support.
