Wade was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He practiced law with his father as a partner of Dickens & Dickens in Scotland Neck.  Wade was a member of Clark Gun Club and a 32nd Degree Mason in Scotland Neck lodge.  A compelling storyteller, he loved sharing his memories and life experiences with other people.  Wade will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Wade was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scotland Neck for many years.  He loved his community and was very active in several civic organizations.  Wade was devoted to his church and loved his church family dearly.  A donation to the First Baptist Church will help to honor Wade's memory and help support the church he loved.
