Henry was a loving family man who was devoted to his family.  He served his country proudly in the US Navy aboard the USS Macon and later served as a special deputy with the Herford County Sheriff's Department for 20 years.  Henry enjoyed farming, carpentry, and gardening and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Henry was a devoted member of St. John Baptist Church, serving on the building and grounds committee and as a former deacon.  He loved his church and his church family greatly.  A donation to St. John Baptist Church will help to honor Henry's memory and help support the church he loved.
