Bob was very proud of his hometown and very involved in the community. He spent his spare time supporting Bellaire Athletics. Most notably, he was very involved with the Touchdown Club. He was active in supporting the club and even announced on Saturday mornings for the football games and volunteered for the Bellaire Relays.
The Bellaire Big Reds Touchdown club is an organization that supports all athletic sports at Bellaire High School.
