Jessie Elizabeth Cornett Helton died peacefully at home at the age of 95 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on September 30, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rhoda and Bill Cornett, husband Dorvan Helton, and her four brothers Dan, James, Oscar, and Jason.
She is survived by her children Angela Hatfield, Rhoda (Mike) Meador, Dorvan (Mary Ann) Helton, Jr., her sister Ollie (Bobby) Morgan, grandchildren David and Donna Helton, Aaron Hatfield, Tristan and Lauren Meador, 5 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Jessie had a passion for her husband and her family and loved politics, life-long learning, painting, and travel.
Jessie was born on January 28, 1924 in Yerkes, Kentucky.
Jessie was adored by those who grew to know her.
