John Phillip Poe was born on January 2nd, 1963 to Page and Nancy Poe in Maryland and passed away on April 29th, 2023 in Virginia at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer. John was a hardworking Construction Framer who took great pride in his craft and always had a smile on his face.

John had a heart of gold and loved nothing more than making those around him laugh and spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for fishing and could often be found out on the water, enjoying the peace and quiet.

Though John’s time on this earth was cut short, he made a tremendous impact on those he met. His kindness and humor will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date to celebrate the life of this wonderful man. May John rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of so many and left a legacy of love and laughter behind.
