It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Joseph Edward Rowh, known to friends and family as Joe. Born on November 22, 1979, in Grantsville, Joseph left us on Thursday, October 19, 2023. His adventurous spirit, compassionate heart, and creative soul endeared him to all who knew him. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." This perfectly encapsulates the essence of Joseph's life journey.

Joseph was a spirited individual, devoted to his passions and pursuits. He attended Lewis County High School, where he nurtured his love for basketball. He later utilized his creative skills working for Industrial Service in sandblasting, and as a cook at Burger King and Hardee's. He was a dedicated and loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and spent many a Sunday cheering them on. His love for technology was evident in the countless hours he spent working on computers. He was also an avid Star Wars fan. Joseph also attended St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was known for his compassionate nature, always lending a helping hand where he could. At the time of his passing, he was employed in the construction industry with Next Level Enterprises and Rinehart’s Construction, a job that allowed him to seize his adventurous spirit by working outdoors and creating lasting structures.

Joseph is survived by his loving mother, Beverly Rowh of Weston; daughter, Jasmine Rowh of Weston; three grandchildren: Calliope Rowh, Alliana Fultineer, and Daxton Fultineer; two sisters: Leslie Tucker and husband, Timothy, of Jane Lew, and Veronica Rowh of Weston; stepfather, Larry Wine; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Rowh. In the words of Helen Keller, "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Thus, Joseph's spirited, compassionate, and creative imprint will forever remain in our hearts and memories.
