Mr. Williams was born on March 1, 1934 to Henry Clay Williams and Lois Dilday Williams in Bertie County, North Carolina. Kendred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a devoted member of Powellsville Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially squirrel hunting with his dogs, Dolly and Penny. Kendred had a passion for collecting arrow heads. He was a talented farmer that cherished his time tending the land, always working hard to provide for his family. Kendred liked to stay close to home. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all that knew him. The family wishes for donations to be made to Vidant Hospice in his memory for their help and dedication during their time of need.
