Evelyn McKenzie, 87, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 at West Virginia Caring Hospice in Morgantown, WV. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and was a devout Catholic, who devoted her life to the church and her family.

St. Alphonsus parish has been in the Wheeling community since the mid 1850’s. The parish is dedicated to living out Christ’s mission through a community build of prayer, social interaction and the rich history. St. Alphonsus strives to reach out to all they encounter, making the loving of the Gospel visible and ensuring they remain a welcome home for present and future generations.

Evelyn was a member of St. Alphonsus for many years and truly believed in the work they do for the community and for the Catholic religion. Please consider making a memorial contribution to St. Alphonsus in memory of Evelyn, to help them maintain the presence they hold.
