Memorial contributions to Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church's SHS Childrens' Lunch Program in memory of Leslie Ann Pielech
Fund Type: Memorial Donations
Shadyside, OHFundraiser ends on January 06, 2022
Leslie loved watching her children in sports and enjoyed traveling. She was also an avid tennis fan having attended several professional matches. Leslie touched so many people fighting MS across America as she was one of the first MS patients to have a muscular movement medical procedure to assist with quality-of-life day-to-day activities. Performed with a team of doctors at Ohio State University Medical Center, Leslie gained national attention for the successes of this procedure that had never previously been performed on an MS patient. Despite Leslie’s continued progression of the debilitating disease, she always had a smile on her face and was so appreciative to everyone who visited her and assisted her with her daily care.
Leslie's church and church family meant a great deal to her. In her memory, please consider making a contribution in her memory to Lincoln Avenue UMC for the SHS Childrens' Lunch Program. Help he continue her legacy!
