The Ohio County Animal Shelter was built in September, 1998. They are managed and operated as an open-admission county facility by The Ohio County Commission. Their facility houses approximately 30 dogs and 40 cats. They provide love and care to each animal and give them treatment such as parasite treatment, bordatella vaccines, FVRCP vaccines and a voucher to assist with the spay/neuter process.
