Memorial Fund

Nancy Marie Allgaier, age 66, passed away on June 27, 2023, in Virginia Beach, VA. She was born on August 15, 1956, and grew up in Hauppauge, New York. Nancy was a graduate of Hauppauge High School. Nancy was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Nancy dedicated a significant part of her life to caring for others as a nurse's aide. Gardening was one of her greatest passions, and she took great joy in tending to her garden. Nancy had a special place in her heart for animals, particularly her pet cat and bird.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Allgaier, Sr. and Beatrice Allgaier. Surviving family members and friends include her sister, Helen Warring (Allgaier), her brother, Thomas Allgaier Jr., and her cousins Gene Allgaier Jr., Edward Kovanda, Fran Biener, George Swanda, Cindy Armacost (Allgaier), and many others.

This fund was created in partnership with the family and Altmeyer Funeral Homes. Proceeds will assist the family with the upcoming expenses during this difficult time.
