Remembering Troy Edward Brown: Honoring a Life, Supporting a Cause

Born in Louisville, Kentucky and departing this world in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Troy Edward Brown touched the lives of many during his time with us. Now, we gather together to celebrate his life and carry forward his legacy with a special fundraising campaign.

Troy's dedication to serving our nation was evident through his six-year tenure in the Air Force. He was a proud contributor to the defense of our great country, and his commitment to duty and honor shone brightly throughout his military career.

He attended Princess Anne High School, graduating with the class of '84, and his passion for life never waned. Troy embraced each day with a vibrant spirit, leaving an indelible mark on those lucky enough to know him.

We deeply mourn the loss of this exceptional individual, who was taken from us far too soon. Troy was a beloved son, stepson, brother, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a family who cherished him dearly. He is survived by his mother Vicki, stepfather Billy, brother Todd (Laura), daughter Katlyn, son Spencer, and grandson Aiden.

To honor Troy's memory and continue his spirit of making a difference, we invite you to join us in supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). This remarkable organization works tirelessly to reduce the loss of lives by suicide and create a world where those affected by suicide can find comfort, hope, and support.

With your generous donations, we can contribute to AFSP's vital programs, research efforts, advocacy work, and educational initiatives that save lives and provide solace to those struggling with mental health issues.

In remembrance of Troy Edward Brown, we will be holding a memorial service on February 24, 2024, at 2pm. The service will take place at VFW Post #392, located at 2408 Bowland Parkway in Virginia Beach, VA 23454.

Troy was a great man, with a unique personality that will never be repeated. He brought joy and light into the lives of those around him, and his absence is deeply felt. As we honor his memory, let us also ensure that others do not have to face the same struggles alone.

Join us in supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and let Troy's legacy be one of hope, compassion, and a better future for all. Together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for your generosity and for standing with us in this important cause.

My heart goes out to his family. If love could have saved you, you would still be here. So sorry you felt life was not worth living anymore & didnt reach out. You raised awareness for depression and suicide, so my pray is that through the sadness of your death that another life is saved.
