Richard Earl Julick, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 3, 2023. The son of the late Earnest and Margaret {Rider} Julick, Richard was born in Carlsbad, NM on December 18, 1945. He retired from Sun Manufacturing in Williamstown after 11 years as a Journeyman Machinist. Richard was an ordained minister for many years as well as a pastor for several churches. He was a minister for Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Demossville for 4 years, Mason Baptist Church in Mason, KY for 5 years, and most recently was the minister for Riverview Baptist Church in Berry, KY for a little over 3 months.

In his earlier years, he enjoyed riding his bike, camping, hiking, and volunteering at the Red River Gorge Information Center. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Richard will be deeply missed by his wife of 58 years, Gail Julick; children Rebecca Julick, Paul Julick, and Rochelle (Patrick) Cox; sister Edith (Bobby) Taylor; grandchildren Joseph (Erica), Richard (Abigail), Mark, Sean, Holly, Eric, and Korin; great-grandchildren Joslyn, Joseph, Jacob, Jenna, Ayris, Delilah, Harrison, and Samuel.

Visitation will be held between 4 PM and 7 PM on Friday, September 8^th at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. His funeral service will be held the next day, Saturday, September 9^th at 10 AM at the funeral home. Richard will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery immediately following services.
