Tabitha Anne "Tab" Inge Memorial Fund

Fund Type: Memorial Donations

N. Chesterfield, VA

Fundraiser ends on March 20, 2021

We are trying to help the family with funeral / cemetery expenses and to support Tab's two small children

On February 12, 2021, our Tab was taken from this world in a senseless act of domestic violence by an evil man who had no compassion or love for this dear soul. She was 35 years old, and in the prime of her life. Her community of family and friends wish to give this new angel a fitting, Christian burial, and to provide for her beautiful children. The fight against domestic violence begins on an individual basis. So many women are reaching out for help against this violence, and we, as individuals must listen and look for the signs and reach back to help and protect them. Please help Tabs family and friends to give her earthly remains a fitting and lasting peace.

Tabitha Anne “Tab” Inge was born on June 27th, 1985, the second of five sisters. She was a happy, cheerful child with an ever-present smile on her face. Tab, even as a young child, was curious and had a knack for slipping off and exploring the world around her. This quest for adventure and excitement continued her whole life. She was not real tall, but she made up for it with courage, determination, and outright toughness. While it is true, she took part in everyday girl activities, the qualities that made up her persona led her to more exciting adventures. She played sports traditionally associated with boys. Riding minibikes and go carts were a regular passion for this character of a girl, and true to form, she never drove slow! Her mother babysat both boys and girls, and more than once she had other mothers tell her they had to find another babysitter because Tab was rougher on their boys than other boys. As she got older, Tab grew from a fierce, competitive tomboy into a beautiful young woman. True to her character, she was still bold, daring, and tough, but she blossomed into a special person who was at the same time compassionate and kind. Tab was a loyal sister and friend, and one never doubted she was on your side. She had dark, deep, brown eyes like a baby deer, and windy, brown hair flowing freely. Tabs laughter, smile, and loveliness could clear a cloudy day for all who knew her. Perhaps her special gift was the ability to make others laugh; school, work, church, home or just out, Tab was always cheerful and laughing. Tab had 3 children, and she loved each of them dearly. Tragically, she lost one child, but cared for and loved her remaining children with all her heart.

So sorry to learn of this tragic loss of this beautiful soul who's life was taken far too soon. May you find comfort in knowing she is safe in the arms of God and will never feel pain again.

Tab!!! My heart aches. This cuts so deep. I cannot put words together properly to express my sadness, my anger and my frustration. I remember working with you in the mall at Trade Secret. Boy did we cut up. I left there and you moved on to Kay Jewelers next door. I recall our most recent encounter at your sons T Ball game. We were able to chat and catch up from where we left off many years prior. Now fast forward to today. Hearing that you passed and the manner in which you did hurts my soul. I cant stop thinking of you, your precious children and your fa🙏😢🙏mily. I so wish I could have provided an escape for you when I saw you at the game. God needed you more and I find comfort in knowing that you are safe, free and at peace. Im so grateful for the time God lent you to this world and I will forever remember your smiling face and beautiful spirit. Rest easy sunshine, rest easy!

When I think of Tabitha what comes to mind is Strength, determination, a kind caring soul whose laugh was one of a kind yet contagious to those who were around you.

I want to say that I have all of our memories on replay in my head. I am on a constant reel of memories from the moment I wake up.
How we would go sit in the computer room just to burn a new CD to ride around and listen to, or how you were able to have a long night of partying and you would still manage to throw me a piece of bread while you were out the door by 8am. I can hear you now, saying here cousin Ill see you when I get off. She knew I would be in the same spot in her bed when she got off Lol. I will cherish all the drives in black Betty going to the pool, or the random beach trips just to sit and watch the sun rise on the beach. We literally did everything together and I will be forever greatful for that. I will cherish all the guidance and love you gave me forever and your name will forever live on.

😇 GOD Saw you were getting tired cousin, so he wrapped his arms around you and told you to Come unto me. You didn't deserve what you went through, and so he gave you rest. He takes only the best so enjoy it up there in GODS beautiful Garden, Untill we meet again cousin.

I love you tab. You will be in my heart forever.
- love Cousin 💕
